What is Sunburn
Red, painful skin that feels hot to the touch —
usually appears within a few hours after too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV)
light from sunshine or artificial sources, such as sunlamps.
Intense, repeated sun exposure that results in sunburn increases
your risk of other skin damage and certain diseases. These include dry or
wrinkled skin, dark spots, rough spots, and skin cancers, such as melanoma.
Aging is the process of becoming older, a process that is genetically determined and environmentally modulated. Understanding your aging face is most important.
Aging of the face can start as early as 20 years old and continues throughout your life. How fast your face ages and to what extent differs from person to person. These things typically happen as you age.
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder. It’s considered an autoimmune disease. This means your immune system harms your body instead of protecting it. More than 7.5 million people in the United States have this condition.
Acne is a skin condition in which hair follicles get plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It can cause whiteheads or blackheads or pimples. It usually occurs on the face, forehead, chest, upper back and shoulders. Acne is most common in teenagers but can be seen in all age groups.
